4.1 Google Analytics 4

GoParkEasy uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage and performance.

The configured lifetime is approximately 2 years, subject to Google's technology and configuration.

However, analytics storage is initially set to denied, and analytics cookies are not placed until the applicable analytics consent is provided. This distinction is important: loading the Google tag does not by itself mean that analytics cookies have been enabled.

4.2 PostHog

GoParkEasy uses PostHog for product analytics.

PostHog may use an analytics cookie and corresponding browser storage to maintain an anonymous or pseudonymous analytics identifier.

The GoParkEasy website does not intentionally send a user's GoParkEasy account ID, email address, phone number, or name to PostHog for product analytics.

The website’s explicitly generated analytics events may contain information such as:

• Parking identifier
• Booking type
• Transaction or booking amount where relevant
• Sign-in method
• Failure or error reason
• Other event-specific product information

Automatic pageview collection and automatic event capture are disabled in the current website configuration. Analytics events are generated explicitly by GoParkEasy functionality.

The relevant PostHog cookie has an approximate lifetime of 1 year, subject to provider configuration.

PostHog is loaded only after applicable analytics consent has been provided.

5. Marketing Technologies

5.1 Google Ads

GoParkEasy uses Google Ads technology to measure advertising effectiveness and attribute website activity to advertising campaigns.

Google Ads may use the _gcl_au cookie.

The current configured lifetime is approximately 90 days, subject to Google's technology and configuration.

Google Ads is subject to Google Consent Mode and is not enabled for advertising purposes until applicable marketing consent is provided.

5.2 Meta Pixel

GoParkEasy uses Meta Pixel to measure advertising effectiveness and campaign attribution.

Meta may use cookies and identifiers including _fbp and other technologies controlled by Meta.

The _fbp cookie may have an approximate lifetime of 90 days, subject to Meta's configuration.

Meta Pixel is loaded only after applicable marketing consent has been provided.

GoParkEasy does not use an ungated Meta tracking pixel for visitors who have not provided the applicable marketing consent.

6. Third-Party Services Used on Specific Pages

Some third-party services are loaded only on pages where their functionality is required.

The loading of a third-party service does not necessarily mean that the service places a cookie.

6.1 Razorpay

Razorpay may be used to process payments through its checkout services.

Razorpay may process payment and technical information necessary to complete, secure, authenticate, and verify transactions.

Razorpay may use cookies or similar technologies as part of its payment and security functionality.

It may be loaded on booking, payment, owner-registration, and other transaction-related pages.

Payment processing is also governed by the GoParkEasy Privacy Policy and the applicable terms and privacy practices of Razorpay.

6.2 Google Maps

GoParkEasy uses Google Maps services on relevant pages to display parking locations and support place-search and mapping functionality.

Google may process location and technical information necessary to provide the mapping service.

Google Maps may use cookies or similar technologies as part of its services.

It is loaded only on pages where mapping functionality is required.

6.3 Google-hosted Fonts and Icons

Some GoParkEasy pages load fonts and icon resources from Google-hosted domains.

These resources do not themselves constitute cookies.

However, requesting a resource from a third-party server may disclose technical information such as the visitor's IP address to that third party.

We disclose this use because it involves communication with a third-party server even though it does not involve a cookie.

6.4 Cloudinary

GoParkEasy may use Cloudinary to deliver website images and parking-listing photographs.

The current implementation uses Cloudinary as an image-delivery service and does not intentionally use it as an advertising or behavioural-tracking service.

6.5 Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights

GoParkEasy uses Vercel services for aggregate website analytics and performance monitoring.

These services are configured to operate without browser cookies.

They may process technical information necessary to measure website performance and aggregate usage.

Because these services are cookieless, they are not listed as cookies in our cookie inventory.

7. Local Storage

GoParkEasy may use browser local storage to maintain information required for website functionality.

This may include:

• In-progress booking information
• In-progress parking-listing information

GoParkEasy does not use local storage as a substitute for optional analytics or marketing consent.

8. Session Storage

GoParkEasy may use browser session storage for temporary information needed during an active browser session.

• Temporary workflow information

Session storage is generally cleared when the browser tab or session ends.

10. Consent Management

GoParkEasy provides a cookie-consent mechanism for optional analytics and marketing technologies.

• Marketing technologies remain disabled until marketing consent is provided.

For Google technologies, Google Consent Mode is configured before the Google tag is loaded. Applicable analytics and advertising storage signals are initially set to denied, while security-related storage necessary for website operation may remain available.

For Meta Pixel and PostHog, GoParkEasy uses its own loading controls to prevent those technologies from loading before the applicable consent is provided.

The consent record is stored in the first-party gpe_cookie_consent cookie.

The consent record includes information such as:

• Consent choices
• Timestamp of the choice

The current consent record is retained for approximately six months.

If we materially change the technologies covered by our consent mechanism, we may update the consent version and request a new choice.

11. Changing or Withdrawing Consent

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using Cookie Settings, available through the GoParkEasy website footer.

Withdrawing consent is designed to be as straightforward as providing consent.

When you withdraw optional analytics or marketing consent, GoParkEasy:

Persistent technologies remain for their configured lifetime or until deleted.

The principal GoParkEasy and third-party technologies currently used on our website have the approximate lifetimes described in this Policy.

Third-party providers may change their technology or retention periods from time to time.

GoParkEasy periodically reviews the technologies deployed on its website and seeks to remove technologies that are no longer necessary.

16. Do Not Track

Some browsers provide a "Do Not Track" setting or similar privacy signal.

There is currently no universally consistent technical standard for interpreting all such signals.

Accordingly, GoParkEasy does not necessarily respond to every browser-level Do Not Track signal.

This Cookie Policy applies to the GoParkEasy website and web-based services.
